Welcome back to TennisLearners.com. Today I have a little bit of a different type of review and This is the best tennis hats review. I picked up a couple of hats recently, and I want to show off a couple of them. They’re all from Amazon. So I went to my local Amazon, and at least here in Toronto, about a month and a half ago, we started reopening here in the city in the province, and it opened up.
And obviously, they had high inventory and a lot of hats due to the lockdown and then et cetera. So they had a huge sale and they had this amazing $6 hat sale. I picked up two of those $6 hats. And then recently New Arrow released a new collection, the Undervisor Collection if you’re familiar with it. & that’s basically just an I’ll get to that.
Adidas Best tennis hat
So let’s look at the two hats I picked up for $6. The first one is a very simple Adidas hat. I think it’s Queen. It’s a crisp, basic Adidas snapback hat with a curved brim. Nothing special here. Material soft. I think it’s mainly polyester. Let me double-check that it is polyethylene. Yeah. So some kind of synthetic material. It’s normally about 34, $35, but $6 steel.
Do you know what I really like? The classic green under brim, under vision. I really like this because it’s like kind of a throwback to the old MLB hats. I really like that. So I don’t know. It’s just a clean hat. I’m probably just going to wear this for, like, golf, tennis, something like that. Just casual wear.
Blue jays hat
The second hat I picked up. I’m really excited about this one. It’s amazing. I picked up a JTA. It’s near-fitted, and it’s a 59 50 classic cab. It’s got a side patch. 1977. I think that’s the inception year.
Red brim and Gray undervisor or under brim. And yeah, this is a legit fitted in the era, and I got it for $6. How do you even beat that rate? This is freaking awesome. The Jays are obviously back in Toronto and playing amazing right now, so I’m excited to rock this hat.
What do you guys think? Looks Chris, right? $6. I mean, how do you beat that? It’s probably like a 40 $45 hat a year ago, and it’s $6.
Sky Blue jays hat & Its the Best tennis hat
I love this hat, guys. So if you don’t know much about me, my favorite color is like a sky blue, like UNC kind of that baby tar Hill blue. Nera recently released a collection called the Undervisor Collection. And basically, it’s on the colored under, like custom eras and custom snapbacks & hats are all the rage these days.
Brands like Hat Club or retailers like Hack Club. And I guess even like Uniform and other hat companies are basically coloring the under. The brim of the hat and pink is sort of the trend of the year. So a lot of the undervisor collection is pink under brim but I’m not too big on the pink under brim. I don’t know what it is.
It’s not really my personal taste. It looks cool but I mean, it looks clean but whatever. Anyway, so I picked up Jason’s cap if you’re not getting the trend. I love baseball. I love the Jays and this is a sad era in Jays history.
But I guess it’s the first time that Jays sort of went away from that classic blue Jay logo and they went for, like, a modern, crisp, clean look and it didn’t work out anyway, so this is kind of a throwback now. I guess it was like, what, the early 2000s? Something like that. The mid-2000s. But yeah, this is a Jays cap with a different Jays logo and it’s Gray.
It’s like a light kind of Gray color. And the color trim on this is sky blue. You could have guessed it, right. And it is. Oh, man. As soon as I saw this hat, it just jumped out to me. It’s beautiful again. Just a classic 59 50. Nothing special about it. The quality of materials, everything is just the same.
There’s a patch on the side. 30th anniversary. I think that’s the year they actually changed the logo to this level. So it’s probably the reason for the patch. But yeah, just the main draw to this hat for me personally was the coloring and I think it’s ugly.
Beautiful hat and I rock this a lot. You can tell it’s a very beautiful hat on the head, right? I mean, you curve the brim and it’s going to be fire, right? Probably going to rock his head a lot backward. Anyways, that is my, or those are my recent high pickups let me know what you think in the comment section below and we’ll see you again next time. Thanks for joining me, bye.
All right, And I’m here today with another best tennis hat review. And we’re going to do a quick unpackaging and review of a hat that I have been anticipating for quite some time now. Going to know it as soon as you see it. This is the RF cap from Uniqlo, of course. This is Roger Federer’s signature cap with what is now I guess he’s endorsed by Uniqlo. Now, Uniqlo used to be with Nike. And so these caps were previously made by Nike.
Uniqlo successfully was able to, I guess, basically buy off the RF logo, and bring it over to Uniqlo. And they just released at the end of last year, at the end of 2020, they released these caps, I think, globally, pretty much. They were released. I missed the drop. They sold out in minutes.
So I had to pick this one up off of StockX. So I picked this one up. Honestly, Resale is crazy on these hats. They’re limited edition. Obviously, this is a color I wanted.
Anyway, thank goodness I was able to get this in time for the tennis season. By the way, I’m a big tennis fan, tennis player, and lover of playing tennis. It’s also got the Go Roger logo on the back. And I love the unicorn logo on the back as well. But what I really like about this hat is the strap.
It’s a Velcro strap, but it’s very well constructed. I don’t even know how to describe it, but it’s a really satisfying sort of Velcro. It’s not something that’s, like cheap, like on a Walmart shoe or anything like that. It’s really well made. And then, of course, the front RF logo is stitched onto the front two panels of the hat.
And it is very, very it feels like good quality there on the inside of the hat. Now, the hat itself, it’s an athletic design, so you get a curved rim. You’re going to get very light material. It’s definitely not as premium feeling as the Nike version. I used to own the Nike one.
And it doesn’t have that Aerobill sort of technology into it. It doesn’t have that golf hat sort of sensation. This feels more like a fabric, like a material that’s going to definitely collect some sweat. But at the same time, it has such a nice airy lightness to it. And then this inner lining right here on the head itself.
Yeah, it’s like a headband. And so it’s perfect for tennis if you’re going to play. And for those of you who are going to play with this hat on, yes, I think it’s perfect for that. It definitely feels like it’s going to be machine washable or washable to some degree. And so it’s definitely not a premium hat, but a hat that I would recommend at its retail price point.
Do not pick this hat up at Resale. Value. It’s just not worth it but I had to pick it up for you guys to see so this is the Roger Federer signature RF cap. It’s got class just like the player himself and if you could pick it up it comes in a wide array of colors and so you can check it out if you can and maybe where you are at a unicorn near you can maybe pick up this hat and try it out for yourself. So tennis lovers out there that is the Roger Federer unique cap.
Rafa Nadal Nike Aerobill Heritage86
Hey Tennis Learners, Welcome back to TennisLearners.com. Today we got another hat review, an unboxing review that I just got off a tennis store hat. Of course, last time we’re looked at the Roger Federer cap from Uniqlo.
And today we’re looking at Rafa and Adolf hat it here looking at the picture of the back. So let’s take a look. This is the first Roth I have. So I’m pretty excited. I do play tennis pretty regularly, so I’m excited to wear this on the court.
In fact, here it is. First look at Rafa’s. What essentially is what the hat is is a Rafa edition of one of Nike’s models. I believe it is the Nike Aerobill Heritage 86. I think that’s the correct hat.
Yeah. So here it is. That’s Rafa’s logo. I think it’s the bowl logo, straight stitched on the front. And then you got a Nike logo stitched on the side, on the back.
What we’ve got is a strap mechanism for the sizing. It’s the one size fits all kind of hat, basically, deal with all of the Aerobill from Nike. You got the dry fit logo on the side as well. You can see that. And another awful logo on the back.
I got the Obsidian colorway, which is basically a Navy blue. It’s very dark blue in person. The colors online on Nike’s site or other sites, it’s a little bit brighter than what it is in person. So when I received the hat, I was really, actually pleased personally to discover that the hat is really dark or darker than what is found online. Yeah, it is an arrow bill, so you guys can actually see that.
So that’s the Heritage 86. If you’ve ever owned the Heritage 86. It’s a very light hat. They kind of build it as, like, a lightweight, breathable comfort hat, the Aerobill series. Of course, if you’re familiar, there’s also a feather-light version of this hat that I’ve been wearing.
This is like what I typically wear on the tennis court. This stuff is really great because it’s kind of weatherproof. So if you sweat a lot or if you play outdoors and it lightly rains, this kind of material will dry quicker. And with the sweat faster and it’s easier to wash. So this is, I think, a material.
And, of course, on the back of this hat, you have a Velcro mechanism for sizing. So I find this material to be, I guess, more athletic per se. I don’t even know it’s difference between a cotton T-shirt and something like polyester. Right? Something like dry-fit material, etc.
But anyway, this has a really nice hat. I love the vintage look of the hat. I love how it shapes your head. So let me try to size this properly. Let me show you. I do have a plain black Heritage 86 as well. But these hats, typically they fit like that hats. Right? I think they look pretty great. They look like this.
Very light on the head, very breathable. The weight is almost I mean, not almost. It is essentially negligible, and it looks great backward, which is usually how I rock these. 86s, 86s. The inner lining of this hat, which is this black part within the inner part of the cap that surrounds and shapes the inner side of the hat, is really where you’re going to get a lot of that comfort and that fit.
And the rest of the material is just basically really thin, almost see-through in person. You can tell you can literally see through the material, not fully, but there is transparency to it. And I don’t know if the camera is going to capture that, but you can kind of see little holes that allow you to see the breathability of the hat. So this is a material that is like this hat. I think obviously this is going to retain liquid a little bit longer or more so than this version of the hat.
But this is definitely going to be, I think, easier to just throw into a washing machine. Actually, both of them are pretty easy to throw into a washing machine. I don’t know if it’d be easier. Everything is easy to throw into a washing machine, but I mean, this material is a very cotton-like material, so I think it’s going to hold up really well any washing machine. So I don’t think you have to worry about that.
Except for the brim, the brim is where I would be worried. This is an interesting concert compared to this. On the inner side or on the bottom side of the brim, you have a double-layered construction, so it’s a little bit thicker on this outer layer, this outer side of the brim, so it holds its shape, and then the middle part is obviously a little bit more flimsy and flexible. That just has to do with the shaping of the brim. It’s not going to lose its shape too much. So that’s really great. And I think the hat just looks awesome
You can find them on the Nike site. This color in particular is not a color that is sold in many retail stores at least appear in United State. So look around. There are a lot of different colors. There’s like a really nice Mint one, there’s a pink one, there’s a really bright neon one, and then the classic white and black and etcetera.
So there are a lot of different colors of this hat. I think it’s a great hat. If you pick it up, if you’re a rough fan, or if you’re a tennis fan, I think it’s a hat worth adding to the collection. So there you go. That is the Rafa Nadal edition.
